The ABC-Algarve Biomedical Center (ABC) in partnership with the Algarviana Team – Associação Cultural e Desportiva, organized the event “Mama em Movimento”, a Solidarity March/Run that had 155 participants, and the funds raised reverted to the benefit of Algarve Oncological Association (AOA).

The objectives of the event were to sensitize the population to the prevention of breast cancer; encourage the active participation of society with an outdoor activity and raise funds in favor of the fight against cancer and support for cancer patients and their families.

On the 21st of November, the delivery of a check in the amount of €1,095.40 was symbolically registered by Dr. Joana Apolónio (ABC) to the President of the AOA, Dr. Maria de Lourdes Santos Pereira.
